About Julie:

Julie is driven to help others understand the incredible and fascinating thing that is the human body – to know how and why it works and how it can be rehabilitated after an event or injury. Practicing since 2007, she joined the Chipperfield Physiotherapy team in early 2015 to empower clients to become active participants in their recovery through home treatment.

Specialty

Julie is primarily interested in helping clients with neurological conditions. She specializes in supporting those recovering from stroke or brain injury or living with other neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, ALS, multiple sclerosis. Julie also specializes in falls prevention and seniors’ health education, and post-joint replacement surgery along with cardiorespiratory conditions – COPD, general de-conditioning.

Experience

Julie graduated from The University of British Columbia in 2007 and has 13 years of experience as a physiotherapist. She is certified in the Neuro-Developmental Theory (NDTA) and the LSVT BIG Program for Parkinson’s disease.
