In British Columbia, you do not typically need a doctor's referral to access counselling services. Direct access to physiotherapy allows individuals to seek treatment from a counsellor without a referral from a physician or other healthcare provider. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a doctor's referral for coverage purposes. It's always a good idea to check with your insurance provider to understand the specific requirements and coverage details. Additionally, in certain cases, such as if you are involved in an ICBC claim, a doctor's referral may be necessary for coverage or claim-related purposes.

Yes! If your extended health plan allows for direct billing we can certainly accept it.
Note: some plans require you to submit claims manually.
